Dadurch wurde die musikalische Begegnung von traditionellem B\u00f6n-Mantragesang und westlicher\/orientalischer Instrumentalausbildung m\u00f6glich.<\/p>\n<p>Idee der Begegnung war es Aufnahmen der drei Hauptmantras der B\u00f6n-Tradition herzustellen, und zwar in zwei Varianten:<\/p>\n<p>1. Auf Wunsch Gesh\u00e9 Dawa Namgyal Kharnatsangs wurde eine westlich-harmonisierte Variante der Mantras erarbeitet (Bearbeitung: Benedikt Ter Braak &amp; Christiane Strothmann).<\/p>\n<p>2. Auf Wunsch Christiane Strothmanns wurden die Mantras in R\u00fccksprache mit Gesh\u00e9 Dawa Namgyal Kharnatsang in einer zweiten Version in ein experimentelles Instrumental-Arrangement gesetzt.\u00a0 Die traditionelle Melodie der Mantras blieb dabei erhalten.<\/p>\n<p>Beide Versionen wurden in derselben Instrumentalbesetzung hergestellt:<\/p>\n<p>Mantragesang Lead Vocal: Gesh\u00e9 Dawa Namgyal Kharnatsang<br \/>\nMantragesang Backings: Christiane Strothmann<br \/>\nKlavier\/pr\u00e4parierter Fl\u00fcgel: Benedikt Ter Braak<br \/>\nCello: Laila Kirchner<br \/>\nSetar: Bijan Tavili<\/p>\n<p>Die Aufnahmen befinden sich zur Zeit noch in der Nachbearbeitungsphase.
